The history of Islam as been diverse with different time periods signifying various peaks and crests on the timeline of its history. Science has seen one such peak which has over the centuries fallen into one such crest. During the Islamic, Golden Age Muslims enjoyed the mantel of being global authorities in scholarship, be it of the various sciences, social sciences (as they existed in their primitive form) and of theology as well, but as time passed they began to stagnate in their scientific study and understanding. Why was it so? Why is it that they fell so far from grace? They became so ignorant they lost the scientific knowledge known to them in the past, let alone the modern developments of their day. In this course, we attempt to explore this and many other questions, while employing the latest in STEM-based research and teaching methodologies, with the goal of instilling in our children the appreciation of both science and our Deen and giving them the tools to progress in both. The differences can only be reconciled if people have knowledge of both, be it evolution, astronomy, etc.
